When hubby wants to eat again by midnight or just wants to go out, he would always bring me to the nearest bulalohan. There, we would order the same dishes- chili squid, chicharon, daing na bangus and of course, the bulalo. They cook the bulalo the traditional way, like the nilagang baka, or the one with sweet corn on the cob and they also prepare it in sinigang sa sampaloc. They all taste good. By the time we get home, we're too full, we can't sleep---so I blog more, he he.

Hi Rowena!! Coincidentally, I cooked Bulalo last night for dinner. Coincidentally again, my husband brought home sweet corn from Lipa, Batangas so I popped them in the pot with the bulalo!!

Hi Girlie, sa Regalado Avenue yan going to SM Fairview. Try other meat shop, I choose the beef shank with more bone marrow. Naku, naglalaway na naman ako.

hay naku, sobrang favorite ko ang bulalo. for me nothing beats this carinderia near chocolate factory. adam's. ang sarap, pramis!
Wow, ang sarap! Unfortunately we don't eat beef anymore.. *sad* But the chicharon looks heavenly/sinful/both haha.
i have often heard bulalo before but haven't tried it. it looks really delicious. your hubby knows how to have a good time. that chili squid looks so yummy!
My son loves Bulalo especially his Dad's version of it.
All those pictures of food is making me hungry but it's past midnight so I better control myself. haha!

Rachel, ako pa naman pag niyaya ni hubby mag bulalo usually midnight na. Hirap na tuloy ma-digest ng food before I go to sleep. So I take lots of green tea...
wenchie, the no-beef thing is not out of self-control but out of force (religious reasons ni hub, damay pati ako huhu)
Hi Chats, now I know why...I have friends also who don't even want the smell of cooked pork, when I'm with them I can't even order one.
